This journal is a personal journey. Which is, I suppose, like all other journals ever created. But this is mine.
After over a decade of feeling suicidal and not always knowing why, it's time to speak up. I'm tired of crying alone, of getting nowhere, of having my words go unheard.
Armed now with a few good friends and their willing ears, I'll tackle on that's inside-- all that needs healing. My codependency, my suicidal thoughts, my self-deprecation, my childhood trauma, the memories I'm gradually recovering, my anger, my grief... everything.
Starting here, I break this silence.
